Taiwan is located in the subtropical zone, with sufficient sunshine and long sunshine hours, Sun Optoelectronics can provide electricity and share the load of the grid when the peak electricity consumption in summer is high. We spends NT$95 million to install solar energy on the roof of the plant. Power generation system equipment can generate 2.65 million kWh of electricity per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1200 metric tons per year.
In addition to responding to energy conservation and carbon reduction, reducing the negative impact of traditional power generation on the Earth, thereby improving the air pollution problem in the central and southern Taiwan, and reducing global warming.
