Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Human technology is advancing at an accelerating pace; while this has bridged the distances between people across the globe, it has also brought richness, diversity, and convenience to our material lives. Throughout this process of development, humanity has continuously extracted and endlessly exploited the Earth's resources to satisfy material needs. Some precious resources are thoughtlessly discarded, while the waste generated during consumption disrupts the planet's ecological balance. A century of resource abuse has triggered a harsh backlash from the Earth, compelling us to seriously reflect on a critical historical juncture: the urgent challenge of achieving "sustainable development" for both humanity and the planet. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our corporate strategy, encompassing sound corporate governance, the pursuit of balanced interests among stakeholders, a commitment to environmental protection and energy conservation, and contributions to society. Our commitments are as follows:

  • Maintain sound corporate governance, strictly adhere to business ethics, and comply with legal regulations.
  • Provide employees with a safe and healthy work environment, opportunities to fully utilize their talents, and fair compensation and benefits.
  • Create corporate value and enhance shareholder interests.
  • Develop eco-friendly, energy-efficient products and implement environmental protection measures to minimize environmental impact.
  • Invest in innovation and R&D, develop intellectual property, and contribute to technological progress for human civilization and the sustainable development of the global environment.

Corporate Social Responsibility Code of Conduct

We will adhere to the following code of conduct during the manufacturing and sale of products and the provision of after-sales service to customers; furthermore, we will require relevant suppliers to support our social responsibility policies and code of conduct, and to strictly comply with them, when providing products or services to the company.

  • Prohibit the use of child labor and forced labor, and refuse to engage suppliers or subcontractors who utilize such practices.
  • Provide safe and sanitary working and living conditions to ensure the safety and health of employees.
  • Promote labor-management cooperation and respect employees' freedom of association.
  • Provide an equal and fair work environment; prohibit any form of abuse, sexual harassment, or discrimination.
  • Respect fundamental human rights; prohibit any acts involving personal degradation, corporal punishment, or mental or physical coercion.
  • Reasonably plan production schedules and manage working hours, rest periods, and leave for employees.
  • Provide reasonable wages and benefits that meet, at a minimum, the basic needs of workers and local minimum wage standards.
  • Comply with applicable labor, environmental, health, and safety regulations as well as international standards; minimize pollution and hazards while pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Neither tolerate nor engage in corruption, extortion, blackmail, or bribery; respect intellectual property rights.
  • Commit to fair trade practices and refrain from engaging in market competition through illegal means, such as false advertising.
  • Protect customer business and technical information; do not disclose such information to any third party without authorization.
  • Refuse to accept metals (Au, Ta, Sn, W) sourced from conflict-affected regions.

"Sustainable development" is an issue that all humanity must face, shoulder, and reflect upon together. As enterprises that drive technological advancement—and may even be the primary agents behind the depletion of Earth's resources—businesses bear an inescapable duty to leverage their own resources and influence. While "drawing" from the Earth, they must "give back" with a spirit of gratitude, striving to fulfill their roles as corporate citizens and upholding their corporate social responsibilities. In doing so, they can lead society to recognize and actively pursue the vital mission of ensuring the "sustainable development" of both humanity and the planet.
